Technical and Scenic Tour

On 12th June, we are planning on organising two one-day field trips for our delegates visiting from various countries. Time: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm

The Haixinsha Resource Recycling Base, located in Machong Town, Dongguan, was recognized in 2018 as a National Recycling Base. It handles municipal solid waste, kitchen waste, hazardous waste, waste oil, and wastewater, and includes an environmental education zone. The base serves as a model for circular economy development in the Greater Bay Area.

Tenglang Food Waste Treatment Project – Nanshan District is located at 1018 Mawan Boulevard, Shenzhen, the Tenglang Food Waste Treatment Plant is developed and operated by Shenzhen Tenglang Renewable Resources Co., Ltd., a national high-tech enterprise founded in 2006. The company specializes in comprehensive solutions for food waste treatment, including project development, process design, equipment manufacturing, and operation. As Shenzhen’s first food waste treatment facility, the plant serves the entire Nanshan District. It adopts aerobic biological technology with a designed capacity of 470 tons/day and can be expanded to 800 tons/day. It is the largest single-unit project of its kind in terms of capacity and land efficiency.

Nanshan Energy Eco-Park is located in Shenzhen's Nanshan District, the Nanshan Energy Ecological Park is a state-of-the-art waste-to-energy facility operated by Shenzhen Energy Environmental Co., Ltd. With a daily processing capacity of 2,300 tons, it serves Nanshan and parts of Futian and Luohu districts, adhering to some of the strictest environmental standards. Beyond its primary function of waste treatment, the park integrates public education, leisure, and eco-tourism. It features a science exhibition center, café, observation deck, swimming pool, gym, and library—making it a model of modern, community-friendly waste management. The facility's innovative design and operations have earned it recognition as a five-star industrial tourism demonstration site in Shenzhen.
